Creative Ecology engaged children and adults in out-door and in-gallery experiences with artists who use art to understand and interpret the natural world. Project goals included helping visitors understand the work of artists and the relationship of art and science. I created three age-appropriate versions of an exit survey for program participants. Findings documented all desired outcomes, and discovered an unanticipated impact. A significant number of respondents recognized in some way, that artists can help people understand complicated phenomena. What an exciting thing to learn about this program!
